Machu Picchu is an Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru. Its exact former use remains a mystery.  Machu Picchu was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Peruvian Festival Chicago was born from the desire to share with the world our culture, our lifestyle, and most importantly, our music.

The Peruvian Festival Chicago brings much pride and enjoyment to Peruvians and Latin Americans from all corners of life. We are honored to provide this same level of pride and enjoyment to our brother and sisters from different cultural heritages.
